Massage -Looking Back

Looking back at the 11 year journey of massage which included the need to be educated in many forms, styles and modalities. Depending on the conditions required and the overall intention all the training and studies be utilised while morphing into one. First I studied the physical body, how it works and moves, how to diagnose and treat a condition. How to massage in a way that is gentle and flowing, how to touch in a way that is safe yet to the point. I was amazed at the different types of massages, people, beliefs, attitudes, cycles, circumstances and results yielded within and without a consultation.

In order to remove the experience that is causing the tension, injury or pain in the physical body lead into observing how our beliefs shape our existence, this can have long lasting affects on our life, livelihood and joy. Our thoughts and emotions (known or unknown) towards what is happening within our internal experience creates our lived experience. It also lead to retraction, silence and care around the power a therapist has to influence someones life.

The power a practitioner has is as serious as life and death. I know these are spiriutal or philosphical ways of explaing a physical experience, we are all one and all is intwined. What is happening is one place is happening in every place, what is happening in the body, is happening in the other bodies.

truth is we all are healers and have a ability to self heal. We are the seek, truth holder, questioner and answerer. In our own awareness we can trust our path by knowing the path in the first place. A constant awareness and education is required to keep up with the ever changing conditions, realities and dimensions we experience. Everything that person
